Recipe for European - Style Coffee

2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups strong brewed coffee
1/4 cup half-and-half

Beat egg whites until peaks start to form. Add vanilla and beat to stiff peaks. Divide into four coffee mugs. Pour coffee over egg whites and top off with half-and-half.
